The "drive chain," also known as a roller chain, is a mechanical element that transmits power, such as from a motor, to a driven shaft as tension through rotating bodies called sprockets. It consists of five components: inner plates, outer plates, pins, bushings, and rollers, and is commonly used for low-speed, high-load power transmission and suspended drives.
